New Books! Woot!

Saturday, November 2, 2013 with
Hello fellow book nerds,
It's StS/Sunday Post** time! But first some linkage from this week... not many posts this week. We started strong but then it became one of those uninspired blogging weeks. Sigh.

Monday: Roxanne St. Claire's BAREFOOT BY THE SEA + Entire Series GIVEAWAY
Tuesday: Review: I'll Be Home For Christmas by Jessica Scott
Wednesday: Book I Covet: Don't Look Back by Jennifer L. Armentrout

But we're coming back with awesome stuff next week, including announcing the two Spooktacular Blog Hop winners. Here are the books we got this week:

Physical Books:
Where the Moon Isn't by Nathan Filer (review)
<<This one has an interesting premise. Super excited to read it. It'll be a change of pace from my usual YA, NA and romance.>>
Allegiant by Veronica Roth (bought)
<<I spoiled myself by reading the reviews when this one came out. It's going in the bottom of my TBR. I'll read it, but I can afford to wait.>>
Bound by Lorelei James (unsolicited)
<<Love Lorelei James' steamy cowboy novels. This one is a little different but I'll probably like it too.>>

E-ARCs (thank you to Avon Impulse, Entangled Embrace and Pocket Star for these):
Torn by Monica Murphy
The Wedding Date by Cara Connelly

Definitely, Maybe in Love by Ophelia London
<<This one is a retelling of Pride & Prejudice! Excited!>>
Thrown by Colette Auclair

What new books did you guys get? We wanna see! Leave your STS/Sunday Post link so we can come gush over them.

Happy reading,
Michelle (& Leslie)

I hate when spoilers ruin a book, luckily I avoided them. Unfortunately I hated the whole book, beginning to end so it didn't matter in the end. As Divergent is one of my all time favourite books and I love Insurgent as well, I was absolutely devastated! Some people really loved it though, so when you read it you might end up loving it as well. Good luck! My STS.

  3. Great haul week for you! I'm so glad I avoided spoilers for Allegiant, I really hate spoilers with a passion lol. But yes I have just finished reading it too and I don't recommend it AT ALL.

    Here's my STS this week.

  4. Where the Moon Isn't looks like such an interesting book. I love the cover.
Sucks about Allegiant but I decided against reading it too after I found out about the ending. Also, Torn! I'm excited for that one. I'm still waiting to hear back about it, but hopefully Avon will approve me.
Lovely books this week! I hope you enjoy them all! :D

  5. At least you're still going to read Allegiant. I removed it and Insurgent from my TBR after I read the spoilers. Happy reading!

Aw, I feel bad that Allegiant was spoiled for so many people. I didn't read the series, but I know alot of people love it.

I love the cover of Thrown! So pretty!

  12. Thanks for stopping by my STS! I did the same thing with Allegiant, I just had to see what the fuss was about. I'm waiting for my library to get it in before checking it out.

  13. Yay for Torn and Definitely, Maybe in Love! I got both of those and I can't wait to read them! I also need to get my copy of Allegiant at some point. LOL. I spoiled myself also, so its on the backburner for me.

  15. Hmm. I didn't know Definitely, Maybe was a P&P re-telling. I may have to check it out. I've stayed clear of spoilers for Allegiant so far, but I've heard enough to know that people aren't too happy with it. Oh, well. I'm going to read it sooner rather than later. Great haul this week!
