It was a pretty good week in books for me.

Review Book
Pure by Julianna Baggott
A big thanks to Dana and Grand Central for sending Pure and for scaring the bejesus out of me when the blue [windup] butterfly flew out. It was indeed a surprise. :D

Birthday Book
The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
It was my 25th birthday on Groundhog Day so, as I do every year, I treated myself to a new book.

  6. Good on you for getting John Green's The Fault in Our stars - seems like even those who are not too fond of Green (they ARE a minority, yes, but there are a few) - found this new book quite moving. I hope to get my hands on this one soon as well. :)

  9. Happy birthday! It sounds like a good one, with all of the swag and books. If you're born on Groundhog's Day and he sees his shadow, does that mean you get to celebrate your birthday for 6 more weeks?
