Why Michelle covets this book: I love Sarah Beth Durst's books. I will read anything she writes. Vessel sounds like an epic read and the cover is just gorgeous.

In a desert land where serpents made of unbreakable glass fly through the sky and wolves made of only sand hunt within storms, Liyana is destined to be a vessel, to sacrifice herself so her clan's goddess can inhabit her body... but her goddess never comes.

"Books I Covet" is a weekly or bi-weekly blog post series I am going to be doing here. It will feature books I am very excited about reading and plan on buying/borrowing in the near future. It is similar to the "Waiting On" meme hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine. However, some of the books may already be published and others may still be in pre-order. I will include the books' blurb, cover art, and/or release date if they're available. Click on the WoW image on the left to join in!

  14. I actually didn't like the cover that much! LOL I know weird but I think what I didn't like is that it didn't really explain the book to me. But hearing Liyana is destined to be a vessel, to sacrifice herself so her clan's goddess can inhabit her body... but her goddess never comes. I'm sold now. I am always intrigued with sacrifices and stuff like that. It will be really interesting! Thanks for sharing and visiting My WOW
