Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Loved But Never Reviewed

toptentuesday
"Top Ten Tuesday" is a weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. There is a new Top Ten list topic every week and this week is "Books You Loved But Never Wrote A Review For" because...

You either loved it so much you don't have the words to describe its awesomeness:

1. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
2. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
3. Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta
4. Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
5. Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling

7. The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
8. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
9. In the Woods by Tana French
10. Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin

  4. I'm reading the Alanna books next; I hope they live up to everything I've heard about them! I've had a copy of Jellicoe Road since January; I don't know why I've put off reading it for so long.

  5. Loved Anna and the French Kiss. Not sure how I'm going to be able to review Lola when it comes out soon. Maybe just a bunch of "OMGs" and "WOWs" :P

Great Top Ten this week! :)

  7. THE SECRET LIFE OF BEES is definitely one of my favorite books of all time. It has such lyricism plus a genuine feeling that is alive throughout the entire book...actually, the book is more like a person. Thank you for commenting!

  8. I really need to read the Melina Marchetta books - they have a lot of fans. Anna is hard to review. I think I gushed a lot about that one.

  10. Great list. Love the inclusion of Something Borrowed. And Harry Potter- I have seen the series on a lot of lists and almost added it to mine! It would have been cool to have reviewed it right from the beginning, though- before the series exploded in popularity.

  14. I think I'd better get on it and read The Shadow of the Wind. I see it on so many lists. I haven't gone back and reviewed books that I read before I started blogging. Have you?

Thanks for dropping by my blog. How do you two do it? Do you sit together when you blog or do you call each other and say I've posted half, your turn?
