Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Loved But Never Reviewed

"Top Ten Tuesday" is a weekly meme created at The Broke and the Bookish. There is a new Top Ten list topic every week and this week is "Books You Loved But Never Wrote A Review For" because...

You either loved it so much you don't have the words to describe its awesomeness:

1. Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen
2. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
3. Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta
4. Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta
5. Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling

7. The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafon
8. The Secret Life of Bees by Sue Monk Kidd
9. In the Woods by Tana French

  1. I like how you categorized these! Very astute!

Hope you will stop by and take a look at my post for this week: Top Ten Books You Never Wrote a Review For. And don't forget to sign up for the Readerbuzz August Giveaway!

  2. Yeah saving francessca could have gone on my list. i think i will have to check some of these novels out. I am now a follower:D

  3. I have read Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta and it's so,so good. I also can't write a review for it! ;) It's just impossible.

  4. I'm reading the Alanna books next; I hope they live up to everything I've heard about them! I've had a copy of Jellicoe Road since January; I don't know why I've put off reading it for so long.

  5. Loved Anna and the French Kiss. Not sure how I'm going to be able to review Lola when it comes out soon. Maybe just a bunch of "OMGs" and "WOWs" :P

Great Top Ten this week! :)

  6. The Shadow of the Wind made my list, too. And I loved In the Woods. Have you read the sequel? Hopefully I will pick them up soon.

  7. THE SECRET LIFE OF BEES is definitely one of my favorite books of all time. It has such lyricism plus a genuine feeling that is alive throughout the entire book...actually, the book is more like a person. Thank you for commenting!

  8. I really need to read the Melina Marchetta books - they have a lot of fans. Anna is hard to review. I think I gushed a lot about that one.

  9. Harry Potter & Something Borrowed are both on my list too :)

Heh, saw your comment on .. I haven't read the full Mortal Instruments series either ;) Just the first one..

    Here's my Top 10 Tuesday!

  10. Great list. Love the inclusion of Something Borrowed. And Harry Potter- I have seen the series on a lot of lists and almost added it to mine! It would have been cool to have reviewed it right from the beginning, though- before the series exploded in popularity.

  11. I find it difficult to review my favourite books, it's tough to put all what I feel into words. Great list!

  12. so many great books--so hard to limit it to 10. love your list.

  13. How could you put your feelings for Harry Potter into words anyway?

  14. I think I'd better get on it and read The Shadow of the Wind. I see it on so many lists. I haven't gone back and reviewed books that I read before I started blogging. Have you?

Thanks for dropping by my blog. How do you two do it? Do you sit together when you blog or do you call each other and say I've posted half, your turn?

My Head is Full of Books

  15. I like your choices! I just read Anna and the French Kiss and fell in love with it. Brilliant book! :)

I cannot wait to read Saving Francesca.

Thanks for stopping by earlier this week! :)
