For Your Weekly Book Video and Cover Fix (2)

It's Friday, Friday gotta get down on Friday... No? Okay, I'll stop--it's just that I was watching a clip of Rebecca singing on America's Got Talent and the song is now stuck in my head.

But it is Friday and that means it's time to satisfy your weekly book video and cover fix.

The book video this week is a book video for Maya Bank's new Scottish romance trilogy. The first book, In Bed with a Highlander, comes out on August 30th. It is made by Tessa Dare and she used nothing but the toys in her children's room. Get ready for some Kens and Barbies gone wild!

Haha, I looked up trews. They're not as hot as kilts.

If you want more toy lurrve check out the book video Tessa made for her Stud Club trilogy here. For more info on Maya Banks and her books, click here to go to her website. For Tessa Dare, click here.

The cover we are featuring this week is the paperback cover of Anne Fortier's book Juliet, which came out on July 26 (the hardcover has been out for a year). Juliet is a retelling of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet and though it's a not a young adult novel, it has cross-over appeal. And isn't this new cover just breathtaking? I love it!
The book trailer for Juliet is pretty epic as well. Click on the cover above to go to it. Here's the synopsis (from Goodreads) for those not familiar:
When Julie Jacobs inherits a key to a safety-deposit box in Siena, Italy, she is told that it will lead her to an old family treasure. Soon she is launched on a winding and perilous journey into the history of her ancestor Giulietta, whose legendary love for a young man named Romeo rocked the foundations of medieval Siena. As Julie crosses paths with the descendants of the families immortalized in Shakespeare’s unforgettable blood feud, she begins to realize that the notorious curse—“A plague on both your houses!”—is still at work, and that she is the next target. It seems that the only one who can save Julie from her fate is Romeo—but Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?
What do you think of Tessa's book video? Or did anyone read Juliet already? Let us know your thoughts.
