We post "Book Trailer/Video of the Week" here every Friday where we share book trailers or book-related videos we have found during the week that we thought were especially awesome or a must-watch.

We're still going to do that but instead of just videos, we're also going to feature book covers we discovered in the week that made us go "WOW WOW WOW I would buy that book just for its cover!"

So, with that in mind, we're going to change the title of our Friday posts to accommodate the change: For Your Weekly Book Video and Cover Fix!! Yay!

The book video this week is an interview with Kerstin Gier, German author of Ruby Red. In the video she talks about her books (with a peek at the covers of the next two books in the trilogy), herself and her loves.

As some of you may know, I love love LOVE Ruby Red--read my review here, I made a vlog raving about it here and feature the book trailer for it here--so I was really happy to find this video and get to know about the author behind it.

Ruby Red is one of the best books I've read this year and I urge you to read it, you won't be disappointed. If you haven't read the synopsis, here it is once again:

Gwyneth Shepherd's sophisticated, beautiful cousin Charlotte has been prepared her entire life for traveling through time. But unexpectedly, it is Gwyneth, who in the middle of class takes a sudden spin to a different era! Gwyneth must now unearth the mystery of why her mother would lie about her birth date to ward off suspicion about her ability, brush up on her history, and work with Gideon, the time traveler from a similarly gifted family that passes the gene through its male line, and whose presence becomes, in time, less insufferable and more essential. Together, Gwyneth and Gideon journey through time to discover who, in the 18th century and in contemporary London, they can trust.

The cover we are featuring this week is for Carrie Lofty's new book Flawless, which will be out on September 27 and the first book in a new series set in Victorian England. It's about four siblings who share the same father. He dies and they all gather for the reading of the will but instead of inheriting riches, he gives each siblings a test instead. Here's the Flawless cover and it's the most stunning romance cover I've seen this year.

Beautiful right? I'm hoping I'm going to love the story as much as I do the cover but the synopsis sounds good
Sir William Christie, ruthless tycoon and notorious ladies’ man, is dead. Now his four grown children have gathered for the reading of his will. What lies in store for stepsiblings Vivienne, Alexander, and twins Gareth and Gwyneth? Stunning challenges that will test their fortitude across a royal empire . . . and lead them to the marvelously passionate adventures of their lives.

Lady Vivienne Bancroft fled England for New York, hoping to shed the confines of her arranged marriage to unrepentant rogue Miles Durham, Viscount Bancroft—though she never forgot the fiery desire he unleashed with his slightest touch. And when the gambling man arrives on her doorstep for a little sensual revenge for her desertion, he is met with Vivienne’s dilemma: She must earn her father’s inheritance by profitably running a diamond business worth millions in colonial South Africa. Swept together in an exotic undertaking filled with heated passion and hungry temptation, will Vivienne and Miles discover that the marriage vows they once made are the greatest snare—or the most treasured reward?
As always, let us know what your thoughts are on our picks this week! :)
