We would like to welcome author Laurel McKee here on our blog today. Her new book is Lady of Seduction, book #3 in the Daughters of Erin series featuring the Blacknall sisters. She is part of the Forever Historical Blog Tour and we are so happy to be able to ask her a few questions.
5 songs in Lady of Seduction soundtrack.
--I love this question! I always make soundtracks when I start my books to help put me in the story's mood.
1) "I'll Tell Me Ma" (trad. Irish song)
2) "Fools Rush In" (Bow Wow Wow)
3) "The Lake Isle of Inishfree" (another traditional Irish song--Cherish The Ladies has a great version)
4) "Only Girl (In The World)" Rihanna
5) "What a Little Moonlight Can Do" Billie Holiday
4 adjectives to describe Caroline.
2) Cautious (until she finds out how fun adventure can be!)
3) Youngest (daughter)
3 adjectives to describe Grant.
1) Handsome (of course!)
3) Chivalrous (reluctantly)
2 favorite characters from Lady of Seduction and why.
Besides the hero and heroine?? I did like Maeve, the talkative Irish maid, and Mademoiselle Victorine, the flirtatious Frenchwoman (I sort of wonder what happened to her when she went back to France...)
1 favorite scene from Lady of Seduction.
I confess--I do like the love scene where Caroline ties Grant up! But I also love the scenes where they ride across the wild Irish landscape...

It's a mad, ill-advised journey that leads the usually sensible Lady Caroline Blacknall to the legendary isle of Muirin Inish, off the windswept coast of Ireland. Even so, she doesn't expect to find herself shipwrecked and then rescued by a man she believed she would never see again. A man who, long ago, held her life in his hands . . . and with it, her heart. And be sure to check out the first two books in the Daughters of Erin series:
Reformed rake Sir Grant Dunmore knew he could never forget the beautiful woman he once endangered nor will he ever forgive himself. But history seems doomed to repeat itself, for as long as Caroline stays on the island, she is trapped in a secret plot that could forever free Ireland-or turn deadly for all. And yet, now that she is in his arms again, how can he dream of ever letting her go?
