The book video of the week features one of my most anticipated releases of 2011: Where She Went by Gayle Forman.

I fell in love with If I Stay from the blurb and devoured the whole book fairly quickly. It was a fantastic read but I wanted MORE.

And there's going to be more (of Mia and Adam and possibly them rekindling their romance) on April 5th! Eeepp!!

But until then, there's been some great stuff coming out to promote the book and one of the best is a video (see below) I recently discovered. Gayle Forman takes us on a tour around spots in New York City featured in Where She Went!

Here's the video:

What do you all think?
Don't you just want to get on a plane and go to NYC asap... or it be April 5th already? I know I do.

And here's the blurb (from the WSW website) and book cover just in case you haven't seen it:
bumped
It's been three years since the devastating accident... three years since Mia walked out of Adam's life forever.

Now living on opposite coasts, Mia is Juilliard's rising star and Adam is LA tabloid fodder, thanks to his new rock star status and celebrity girlfriend. When Adam gets stuck in New York by himself, chance brings the couple together again, for one last night. As they explore the city that has become Mia's home, Adam and Mia revisit the past and open their hearts to the future - and each other.

Told from Adam's point of view in the spare, lyrical prose that defined If I Stay, Where She Went explores the devastation of grief, the promise of new hope, and the flame of rekindled romance.

  1. All I have to say is those characters must have some energy! That is so much walking! I went to NYC last week and didn't do half as much sightseeing and walking and I felt like I needed a vacation from my vacation. Ha!

  2. I can't wait to read this because I loved the first book and this is going to be told in Adam's pov. And who doesn't love Adam? I have to find out what happened to their relationship. Gayle Forman is an awesome author too!
I'd love to go to NYC and I'm sure after I read her book, I'll want it even more!

  3. I still need to read the first book in this series, but I have heard such great things about it that I am sure I will immediately want to read books two.
