Book Trailers of the Week: Halo by Alexandra Adornetto/Book I Covet: Paranormalcy by Kiersten White

I haven't posted any "book trailer of the week" here on the blog for a while but I'm really excited to read these two books (both out in the next couple of months). You all have probably seen these two around last week but I'm sharing it here again because they are fantastic!

The first trailer Halo by Alexandra Adornetto:

Blurb: Three angels are sent down to bring good to the world: Gabriel, the warrior; Ivy, the healer; and Bethany, a teenage girl who is the least experienced of the trio. But she is the most human, and when she is romantically drawn to a mortal boy, the angels fear she will not be strong enough to save anyone—especially herself—from the Dark Forces. Is love a great enough power against evil? This is the first entry in this trilogy, written by eighteen-year-old Australian author Alexandra Adornetto.

Next is Paranormalcy by Kiersten White (which I have on pre-order!). This book is my Book I Covet/Waiting on Wednesday book (hosted by Jill of Breaking the Spine):

Blurb: Evie's always thought of herself as a normal teenager, even though she works for the International Paranormal Containment Agency, her ex-boyfriend is a faerie, she's falling for a shape-shifter, and she's the only person who can see through paranormals' glamours. But Evie's about to realize that she may very well be at the center of a dark faerie prophecy promising destruction to all paranormal creatures. So much for normal.

Now, for the hard question: If you can only have one of these two books, which one would you pick? (Leslie asked me this question and I couldn't answer. Can you?)

  10. Oh! I've already pre-ordered Paranormalcy and I'm participating in an ARC tour for Halo (both of which I'm *very* eager to read).

If I absolutely HAD to choose, it would be Paranormalcy.
